The Japanese Geotechnical Society has a wide array of awards that recognize the achievements of organization/people in the geotechnical engineering field. The following three awards are offered: the geo-environmental award, the project award and the research/paper award (English/Japanese category), which are presented annually at the JGS Annual Conference. Any organization/people in the geotechnical fields (even who are not registered as the JGS members) are eligible for the nomination.
